Fire Service Officer

Program Description
Fire Services Officer is a cooperative program between Eastern Iowa Community College District and Black Hawk College.
The Fire Service Officer curriculum
is primarily designed for employed fire fighters and volunteer fire
fighters who are seeking to upgrade job skills. The program will provide
necessary skills, knowledge and competencies
utilized in the management and operations of facilities, services, and
personnel in the fire science field. At completion of the curriculum,
students are awarded an A.A.S.
Courses are provided in a classroom
setting at Black Hawk College Quad-Cities Campus located in Moline, IL.
All but two of the fire science courses are offered online as well.
Students enroll in the Fire Services
Officer courses through their home college (CCC, MCC, or SCC) to take
advantage of our in-state tuition rates.
