Program Cost
Scott Community College offers one of the lowest tuition
rates in Iowa, and more than half of our students receive some form
of financial aid.
For Iowa residents, tuition for
the entire diploma program (40 credit hours) is approximately $5,000. Out-of-state
student tuition is approximately $7,500 for the
program.

Uniforms: Students are required to purchase three solid color uniforms, one pair of clinic shoes and one pair protective eyewear.
Financial Aid /
Scholarships
Many types of Financial Aid are available for Dental
Assisting students. State and federal grant and loan
assistance is available through our financial aid office. In addition, the Scott Community College Foundation
provides a wide assortment of scholarships for deserving
students. Financial aid forms for fall semester are due to the
financial aid office April 1st.
In addition to these programs, Dental Assisting students can
apply for the following scholarships and loans:
American Dental Association Endowment Fund
Scholarships up to $1,000 for full-time students who
demonstrate financial need and academic achievement (2.8 GPA or
above). Applications accepted February 15 through August 15. For
