Eastern Iowa Community College is nationally-recognized as a leader in environmentally-related issues.

The college's Health, Safety and Environmental Technology program was created more than 20 years ago with funding from the Environmental Protection Agency. The program is entirely online and includes students from across the country and even the world.

Now, the college is excited to announce a new Renewable Energy Systems Specialist program begining in the Fall of 2009. This exciting new program will train technicians to work in such areas as wind, solar and biofuel energy.
