The online HSET distance learning program is eligible for federal or state financial aid assistance. Individuals in the military may check with their local education center or Navy campus personnel concerning tuition assistance. The correspondence distance learning program is not eligible for federal or state financial aid assistance.
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be filed each academic year. Filing FAFSA determines your eligibility for federal and state financial aid as well as some types of institutional aid.
If you filed the paper FAFSA, you should have received a paper renewal application in the mail. If you filed via the Internet, you should have received a personal identification number (PIN) so you can once again file via the Internet.
If you did not file electronically, you are strongly encouraged to file your next FAFSA electronically. Visit the FAFSA website for complete instructions. You will need to refer to your federal income tax return so that you can complete your FAFSA. Scott Community College Title IV school code is 004074.
If you need additional assistance in completing your FAFSA, please call our Financial Aid Office at (563) 441-4040.
The HSET Scholarship was established by Scott Community College faculty and Advanced Technology Environmental Education Center staff to provide recognition and financial assistance to students committed to the career field of Health, Safety and Environmental Technology.
