Eastern Iowa Community College District
Eastern Iowa Community College District (EICCD) was established in 1965 by the Iowa State Legislature and provides comprehensive community college education. The District serves the population through its three colleges (Clinton, Muscatine, and Scott Community Colleges). EICCD offers two-year Associate in Arts, Associate in Science and Associate in Applied Science degrees, diploma and certificate training, associate degree college transfer and a wide selection of adult and continuing education programs.
EICCD is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCACS). Our NCACS accreditation means that our programs meet or exceed the standards for academic excellence set for every public and private college and university in the 19-state North Central region. The three colleges within the district are also approved by the Iowa Department of Education and the Board of Regents.
Scott Community College
Scott Community College (SCC) is located in Bettendorf, Iowa, a community of 30,000 residents. Bettendorf is part of the metropolitan area of the Quad Cities, which is a bi-state community of about 400,000 people located on the Mississippi River. The Health, Safety and Environmental Technology program is based on the SCC campus.
SCC is a comprehensive community college offering two-year Associate in Arts, Associate in Science, and Associate in Applied Science degrees, diploma and certificate career training, associate degree college transfer, and a wide selection of adult and continuing education programs. As one of the colleges comprising the EICCD, SCC holds the maximum accreditation by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
