Business, whether it's running one or working in one, Clinton,
Muscatine and Scott Community Colleges offer a number of programs
that will get you there
In the specific business area, students can
choose either Business Management or
Business (AA). Business Management is a career
track program designed those student who plan to enter directly
into the business world upon graduation from us. The Business (AA)
is a major field for students who will be transferring their
credits to a four-year institution for completion of their
bachelor's, or even their master's, degree.
Accounting Management is also a career program
with students graduating into a number of bookkeeping-related
positions.
Administrative Office Support (AOS) provides a
number of different options for students interested in working in
an office environment. These range from one semester clerical
programs to the full two-year AOS degree.
Health Information Technology (HIT) trains
students to work in medical enviroments such as hospitals and
clinics maintaining records vital to the success of those
institutions. Cancer Information Management (CIM)
is a new, specialized, training program within HIT.
Finally, International Trade is a cooperative
program with Black Hawk College in Illinois. Our cooperative
program allows students to participate in the Black Hawk's
International Trade major while paying in-state, Iowa, tuition
rates.
