Program Description
The Feed and Fertilizer Marketing Program is a two-year input/supply business management program. Upon successful completion of the coursework, students earn an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Feed and Fertilizer Marketing.
Our marketing course structure has been carefully developed and redeveloped over the years by a dedicated advisory committee. This committee is made up of professionals within the input/supply sectors who regularly meet to provide input and give guidance about the ever-changing ag industry.
The program content is designed to provide the student an extensive knowledge base about how to service production agriculture efficiently. We introduce each individual to a variety of simple and complex aspects of the agricultural business. Equipped with this information, the individual can develop potential career choices.
Human relations, sales and business management are the highlights of the Feed and Fertilizer Marketing Program. We offer the student work experience to gain the skills necessary to become a highly-trained professional. This includes four work periods to better diversify a student's education.

Employment Experience
The most important criteria for choosing a career is to choose something you like to do. In this production-based program, work experiences are designed to help you discover that. You will be challenged to explore all the possibilities available; to set your goals high and achieve them.
Whichever Agribusiness & Technology Program an individual is enrolled in, one thing is certain: he or she has the opportunity to engage in an employment experience each semester. Few programs in the state offer this distinct advantage to students.
Students have the opportunity to gain experience in a variety of areas including animal or crop production, agricultural chemicals, farm management, horticulture, or something completely different. Students work where they want to work and the learning opportunities are almost limitless. MCC Agribusiness and Technology Program advisors assist the students in making their employment choices so that each student can achieve his/her own desired goals and objectives.
