ATE Denmark presented me with the opportunity to travel and extend my education. This project offered me an agricultural-based renewable and sustainable energy research experience at Dalum College of Agriculture in Odense and EUC-Syd in Sønderborg, Denmark. We took part in the research to study the effects of agriculture production on the climate and the environment.
We worked with global scientists and experienced hands-on research in agricultural-based renewable and sustainable energy in one of the world's most progressive areas. Not only was it a great way to learn new things but it was a great way to meet new people and experience a different culture and a different way of life.
Every year EICC provides several opportunities and funds for students to study
abroad. The facilitators were very helpful and insightful. I would definitely participate
in another study abroad program. It was an experience that I will never forget.
