Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Scholarship
This scholarship is Xi Eta Omega of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated's means of cultivating and encouraging high scholastic standards for today's youth.
- Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for this scholarship:
- The applicant must be a minority female of African-American descent.
- Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
- Applicants must write a short biographical statement that includes educational and career goals.
- Three letter of recommendation must accompany the applications; one should be endorsed by your school (counselor/advisor, teacher, principal, etc.); on from either a minister or an employer; and one from a person of your choice.
- An official copy of your transcript must accompany the application.
- The applicant must be accepted or attending a two or four year degree granting institution and a letter of acceptance or proof of attendance must be received before the scholarship is awarded.
- Applicants enrolled in non-traditional based programs are required to submit the course of study outline and a statement of how funds will be used.

- 4 scholarships for $2,000 each will be awarded to students pursuing an automotive major during either the 2013 fall semester or 2014 spring semester.
- 2 scholarships will be awarded each semester; totaling 4 awards over the 2013-2014 school year.
Our Program:
- We are offering 4 currently enrolled students or high school seniors who are pursuing post-secondary education during the 2013-2014 school year an opportunity to be awarded $2,000 in tuition assistance towards their upcoming semester!
- Those students who have exceptional drive and automotive ambitions should submit a 700-1500 word essay to scholarships@americanmuscle.com telling us who you are and why creativity and personalization in the automotive industry is important for advancement of the industry as a whole. All entries must be submitted as a PDF or Microsoft Word document to be eligible for consideration and also must include proof of current college enrollment.
- Please submit your essays by 12:00PM EST on June 15th, 2013 for the fall semester and 12:00PM EST on October 15th, 2013 for all spring semester applicants. Winning scholarships will be paid directly to the school as a tuition payment.
- Winners will be selected by July 15th, 2013 for fall semester applicants and by November 15th, 2013 for all spring contestants.
Who is Eligible:

The Andy Zinn-Genesis Systems Group Scholarship

Applicant must be a resident of Iowa, a non-traditional student that has completed at least one (1) year in an institution of higher learning with satisfactory scholastic standing. Applicant must be a United States citizen, out of the workforce and wants or needs to return to work, but needs additional education, has completed high school five or more years ago and now wants to start or resume their college education, demonstrates financial need, scholastic ability, leadership skills and career goals. The applicant does not need to be a member of Business and Professional Women of Iowa. In addition to the formal application, the applicant must attach a copy of her (his) transcripts along with three letters of reference as to their character and need for this scholarship.

Business and Professional Women of Iowa Foundation
Educational Scholarship Program
The Business and Professional Women of Iowa Foundation works to:
- Promote Charitable and scientific purposes
- Establish, maintain and distribute scholarships
- Give financial aid to schools, colleges and other institutions of education
- Conduct research and surveys
- Provide lectures and seminars
Awards are $1000 each. Recipients will be notified late April when the decision is made and the awards will be granted in April 2013.
Criteria:
- A United States citizen and resident of Iowa or an active member of an Iowa local BPW organization living out of state.
- Non-Traditional student - graduated or should have graduated five (5) or more years ago before March 31, 2008
- Provides three letters of reference as to their character and need for this scholarship from employer/manager, instructor/professor and/or leaders in community activities who can attest to their involvement.
Checks will be mailed directly to the educational facility that the recipient will be attending.
The limit of the scholarship awards is two years.
Deadline: Applications must be postmarked by March 20, 2013 and mailed to the Educational Scholarship Committee Chair in order for this year's scholarship awards.

Charles E. Curry is the Founder of the Interstate Resource Conservation & Development(RC&D) SMART (Sharp Minds Are Reading Thoroughly) Bus. The SMART Bus Program, committed to reducing illiteracy, which began 2000, has handed out over 40,000 books to children in the Muscatine and Scott Counties in Iowa and Henry, Mercer and Rock Island Counties in Illinois.
Mr. Curry is well-respected in the Quad Cities area serving in various capacities with the Interstate RC&D Council. His leadership qualities combined with a passion and a vision for improving our natural resources, promoted community and rural economic development and education has contributed greatly to the success of the RC&D program and to helping improve the quality of life in our area. The Charles E. Curry Scholarship Fun was established in 2008 by the SMART Bus Committee to honor the hard work and dedication of Mr. Curry and awards one $500 dollar scholarship annually.
Qualifications:
- Applicant must be a 2013 graduate of a high school in Iowa or Illinois living in Henry, Mercer or Rock Island Counties in Illinois or Scott or Muscatine Counties in Iowa.
- Applicant may also be a freshman or sophomore at an Illinois or Iowa College or University who graduated from a high school in one of the above five counties.
- Applicant must have maintained and provide proof of a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale during the last seven semesters of High School.
- Applicant must provide a copy of a transcript of their last seven semester courses.

COBHAM Diversity Scholarship
Purpose
To promote diversity within the technical workforce. This scholarship is intended to reduce financial barriers for covered classifications in achieving academic accomplishments.
Who's eligible
To apply for this scholarship, students must meet the following criteria:
- Be a member of a minority group (female and/or racial or ethnic)
- Be enrolled in a full-time technical degree program for the 2012/2013 academic year
- Have a high school/college GPA of 3.0 or better (on a 4.0 scale)
- United States Person status
How to Apply

Scholarship Award Process
A committee comprised of Cobham employees will review all application materials submitted for the scholarship. The three highest rated applicants will be asked to take part in a selection interview. The scholarship award will be based on the committee’s evaluation of the application materials and interview.
Award
Cobham will award a scholarship to cover actual expenses up to two thousand dollars ($2,000) per semester. The scholarship funds may be used to pay for tuition, academic fees, and books.
Eligible costs for reimbursement must be incurred at state-run schools. Examples include: Blackhawk Community College, Scott Community College, & Clinton Community College.
Maintenance of Scholarship
To maintain the scholarship money, the student must provide proof each semester that she/he:
- Maintain full-time student status
- Maintain a G.P.A. of 3.0
The scholarship may remain in place for the duration of the student’s academic career (not to exceed five semesters).

The scholarship fund provides grants to students actively working for peace and justice. These need-based scholarships are awarded to those able to do academic work at the university level and who are part of the progressive movement on the campus and in the community, financial need. Early recipients worked for civil rights, against McCarthyism, and for peace in Vietnam. Recent grantees have been active in the struggle against racism, sexism and other forms of oppression; building the movement for economic justice; and creating peace through international anti-imperialist solidarity.

Diana (Diane) De Pover-Nesseler Memorial Scholarship
The Community Foundation of the Great River Bend has a $750.00 scholarship The scholarship is the Diana (Diane) De Pover-Nesseler Memorial Scholarship. Previously only awarded to Scott Community College, this scholarship is now available to any female student attending any of the Eastern Iowa Community Colleges. The donors of this fund have also updated the criteria for the scholarship. See below:
- Eligible recipients will be chosen from students enrolled at a Community College in the Quad Cities area.
- Preference will be given to female applicants.
- Recipients must be enrolling in a Community College for purposes of pursuing a career in their chosen area of study.
- Preference will be given to female students pursuing a career in Applied Technologies and/or Career Tech Programs.
- Recipients should demonstrate the perseverance, tenacity, determination and love of life that Diana had during her lifetime, as demonstrated through work experience, community involvement, and school achievement.
- One scholarship shall be awarded from the amount available for distribution annually. At such time as there are sufficient funds available for distribution to award additional scholarships, additional scholarships may be awarded with a minimum of $750 each.
- Scholarship recipients may apply for and receive the scholarship more than one time, so long as they continue to meet the stated criteria above.

Disabled American Veterans Quad City Chapter Scholarship
An application for the DAV Quad Cities Chapter 2 Scholarship competition is enclosed and is available from DAV Quad Cities Chapter 2 or by e-mailing davqcch2@gmail.com or calling 563-324-6329. There are two $1000 scholarships available this year, one per winning applicant.
The Scholarship must be used for higher education: college, vocational/trade school and funds will be made directly to School/University. To compete for a DAV QC Ch. 2 Scholarship, an applicant must be able to substantiate that they meet the following criteria:
- Be a member in good standing of the Disabled American Veterans Quad Cities Chapter 2 or
- Be a spouse or direct descendant (child or grand child, niece or nephew) of a member in good standing of the Disabled American Veterans Quad Cities Chapter 2 and,
- Be a senior in a public, parochial or independent school; GED recipient, or a student in good standing at an accredited college/university or vocational/trade school in the United States, taking studies leading to a degree, diploma or certificate of completion.
Compose a minimum 500-word essay on any of the following:
- Is continuous low-level conflict America’s new defense/foreign policy paradigm?
- What is the best way to honor our veterans?
- Is the downsizing and privatizing of our Military in the best interest of our Military and our Country?
Essays will become the property of DAV Quad Cities Chapter 2. Essay will be judged on content, syntax, punctuation, originality and be suitable for publication. Essays will be in English, typewritten, double spaced, with all identifying information on the back of each page. Identifying information to include date, name, address, phone number and e-mail address. The DAV Quad City Chapter 2 Scholarship Committee will judge essay. To be eligible DAV Quad City Chapter 2 must receive essay and application no later than February 29, 2012. The Committee has the right to accept or decline any and all applicants. Winners will be notified by phone and/or correspondence. Scholarships will be sent directly to school.

EGSA David I. Coren Memorial Scholarship Deadline - May 1st, 2013
The objective of the scholarship is to provide financial assistance to students who plan to seek employment in the On-Site Power Generation industry after completion of their studies. In awarding scholarships, the committee looks at each application and supporting documents to identify those students who demonstrate that they are taking the necessary steps towards this goal.
Eligibility
Applicants must be high school graduates (or GED equivalent), full-time students at an accredited school, show academic achievement, demonstrate admirable characteristics, and plan to seek employment in the On-Site Power Generation industry. Recipients are not prohibited from accepting scholarship or financial aid or assistance from other sources. Students who have received EGSA Scholarships in prior years are eligible in subsequent years. (Individuals who have received an EGSA Scholarship in the past should contact EGSA for a Renewal Application.)
Former military personnel who have training in the power generation industry and who are pursuing additional formal education for it, and previous EGSA Scholarship recipients, will be given extra consideration for Scholarship assistance.
Applicants must:
- be enrolled (or Accepted) as a full-time student at an accredited Vocational–Technical School, Community College, or two- or four-year institution. Students who will be entering their first year of studies must include an acceptance letter from the school
- have declared a major related to On-Site Power Generation industry subjects
- have (and will be expected to maintain) a cumulative GPA of 2.8 (A = 4) or above. The basis used for the award of a scholarship is merit (academic and personal achievement).

Excellence in Education ~ Deadline is February
Muscatine community schools student scholarships are awarded to 20 seniors with $2,000 and 10 eighth grade students with $1,000 scholarships to be used at the academic institution of their choice after they graduate. Selection is based on the student's eligibility and potential as demonstrated through the application and the letters of recommendation. A committee of teachers and community members will select the recipients. Community members, including teachers, administrators and parents may make nominations. All nominations must be accompanied by at least one letter of support from a school employee.
Muscatine community schools professional awards for support staff recognizes school employees who have demonstrated excellence within their profession with one $500 excellence award. This category includes transportation, food service, clerical, maintenance, secretarial and custodial employees. Nominations may be made by community members, including teachers, administrators and students.

Family Involvement Board ~ Deadline is February
At www.iowacreditunions.com/ there are scholarships for both traditional and non-traditional students which are available for; 1) A scholarship program for high school students planning to enter college. 2) A scholarship for non-traditional aged and continuing education students. The high school scholarship will award a first place prize of $1,500; second place $1,000; third place, $750 and fourth place $500. The non-traditional scholarship category will award two $1,000 scholarships.
The high school scholarship is open to any high school student classified as either a junior or senior. The German American Oktoberfest Gift Scholarship ~ Deadline: Wednesday, November 23, 2011

PURPOSE:
The German American Oktoberfest Gift Scholarship was created by the German American Oktoberfest Committee to assist Iowa Scott County resident students who are studying the German language or pursuing a German degree.
ABOUT THE DONORS:
The American/Schleswig-Holstein Heritage Society (ASHHS) is host of the annual Oktoberfest event. ASHHS is a not-for-profit organization which encourages cultural exchange, promotes family research and genealogical exchange. It also encourages the study of the languages and dialects of Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, and holds conferences, seminars, lectures and programs relating to the above objectives. Its members are committed to preserving the German heritage in our community.
The Oktoberfest event celebrates the German influence, heritage and culture throughout the Midwest. The German American Oktoberfest committee, in keeping with its mission, chose to use the proceeds from the Oktoberfest event to provide scholarships to Scott County resident students studying the German language or pursuing a degree in German.
THE SELECTION PROCESS:
Applications must be submitted to the German American Oktoberfest committee at the address listed below according to the scholarship deadline. The German American Oktoberfest committee will select the students who best meet the selection criteria and notify the students and their respective college or university.
THE SELECTION CRITERIA:
1. Applicants must be a full-time student in good standing at a Scott County college or university.
2. Applicants must be a Scott County resident and have graduated from a Scott County high school.
3. The scholarship shall be awarded to a student studying the German language, pursuing a German major or minor or participating in a German study abroad program.
4. Financial need will be a consideration.
5. Applicants must submit a completed scholarship application form from their college or university and write a few paragraphs finishing the following sentence. “I’m studying German because…”
6. The successful applicant will be selected without regard to race, age, or religious or sexual preference.
THE AMOUNT OF THE AWARD:
The amount and number of scholarship(s) awarded will be determined by the German American Oktoberfest Committee based on the net proceeds of the Oktoberfest event. The minimum award will be $1,000 and shall not exceed the amount of one standard approved academic term’s tuition fee.

Iowa Association for Health, Physical Education,
Recreation & Dance ~ Deadline is March
The applicant must be an undergraduate student who is planning to enter the physical education, health, recreation or dance profession. Applicant must be of at least a sophomore standing, enrolled in an Iowa college or university and have a current GPA of at least 2.5. Student Scholarship ~
Purpose of award
This award supports students of Developmental Education programs as they continue their college degree aspirations.
Criteria for evaluation
- Completion of at least two developmental courses or participation in at least two developmental programs such as math, writing, reading, ESL, or study skills.
- 3.0 cumulative GPA (based on a 4.0 scale)
- Plans to enroll in or continue enrollment in a post secondary educational institution during the next academic year
Special features
- Scholarship up to $500 will be awarded
- Fee waiver to attend the annual IDEA conference the year that the award is given
- Travel expenses (if necessary) to the annual IDEA conference
- 3-5 minute presentation at the annual IDEA conference when award is presented
Special procedures
- Scholarships are based upon the interest income generated by the endowment. The principal is not to be used for scholarships.
- Scholarships may not be renewed.
- The scholarship check will be sent directly to the student.
- Scholarship winner is encouraged to apply to the NADE Martha Maxwell Developmental Education Student Scholarship.

Iowa Motor Carriers Foundation Scholarship
The Iowa Motor Carriers Foundation is a non-profit corporation organized for the purpose of providing educational opportunities to deserving young Iowans. The Foundation's scholarship program is administered by the Iowa Motor Truck Association in Des Moines, Iowa.
Scholarships awarded by the Iowa Motor Carriers Foundation are available to students majoring in any field of study. To be eligible to receive an IMCF scholarship, a student must be a permanent resident of the state of Iowa. The student also must currently be attending or planning to attend any of the following types of educational institutions:
- A community college located in Iowa
- A public or private trade school located in Iowa
- A private college or university located in Iowa
- A public college or university located in Iowa
Selections are based on the applicant's academic record and outside activities as they pertain to school and community citizenship. Davenport-Bettendorf Branch American Association of University Women ~ Deadline is April
The Davenport-Bettendorf Branch (DBB) of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) is pleased to announce that three $1,000 grants funded by the DBB AAUW Vernona Jepsen Scholarship Fund will be awarded in 2010. These will be awarded to women already pursuing professional career goals by attending institutions of higher education and demonstrating success at the freshman (1st year) or higher level. Previous DBB scholarship recipients are encouraged to apply.
Each applicant must have a legal permanent residence in the Quad City Metro Area and be able to show a college/university enrollment that indicates a continuing pursuit of education, a good scholarship record, including a certified transcript and a definitive financial need. In addition, two personal recommendations attesting to the above same qualifications must be submitted. The letters must be included with the application. The scholarship funds are not retroactive.
All complete applications forms must be postmarked by March 25, 2010. Notifications as to the applicant's status will be announced on or by April 20, 2010, by phone, mail or email. The scholarship recipients will be expected to attend as guests of DBB a Brunch on May 1, 2010 at 9:00 at the QC Botanical Center, Rock Island. Recipients will receive formal recognition of the scholarship award at the Brunch and be required to fill out a form stating where the funds will be sent.

Kirschbaum Fitzsimmons Scholarship
PURPOSE
The Democratic Party of Scott County, Iowa, is announcing its annual scholarship in honor of the lives, work, and memory of the late KATHY KIRSCHBAUM and KAREN FITZSIMMONS. The purpose of the scholarship is to encourage participation in community politics.
KATHY KIRSCHBAUM became the first female alderman of Davenport in 1967 and later became the first elected female mayor of Davenport serving as mayor from 1972 to 1976. She also served as a delegate to the 1972 Democratic National Convention and was an early champion of the city’s bike paths.
KAREN FITZSIMMONS was the first female county auditor in Scott County, Iowa. She served honorably as Scott County auditor from 1976 to 2008, bringing professionalism and prestige to the office. She won her first election at the age of 27 and won re-election seven times. Fitzsimmons was very civic-minded; as such, she was active with the Scott County Democratic Party and in the presidential campaigns of Howard Dean, Al Gore, Barack Obama, and other Democratic hopefuls.
ELIGIBILITY
The $500.00 Kirschbaum-Fitzsimmons Scott County Democrats Scholarship will be awarded to one Scott County graduating male or female senior who meets the following criteria:
- Presents evidence of acceptance to and enrollment in an accredited post-secondary educational program in the United States.
- Graduated or will graduate during the 2011-2012 academic high school year from a high school in Scott County with at least a 2.75 (out of 4.00) high school grade point average, and has not been enrolled as a full time college student prior to applying for this scholarship.
- Presents two letters of recommendation (described in How To Apply section).
- Agrees to report back to the Scott County Democratic Party Central Committee via written communication or in person regarding his/her progress in the post-secondary educational program.
- Completes and submits the scholarship application form and supporting documents by the date designated.
- Obtains permission of parent(s) or legal guardian to participate in the scholarship competition and to reveal the name of the award winner in a press release.
HOW TO APPLY

- High school transcript or certified evidence of alternative schooling.

SCHOLARSHIP AWARD PROCESS
The Scholarship committee will review all application material submitted for the scholarship. The top three contenders may be asked to appear before the Scholarship Committee to state why they should be granted the scholarship based on the applicant’s knowledge of local, state, and national current political events, the history of politics in the United States of America, and the importance of civic involvement.
AWARD
The Scott County Democratic Central Committee will award a five hundred dollar ($500.00) scholarship to the selected applicant during the spring of 2012. The scholarship funds may be used for any and all post-secondary school-related expenses during the 2012/2013 academic year.

Latinos Unidos of Iowa, Inc. is proud to grant scholarships for Latino/Latina students who will attend Iowa institutions. Application deadline is May 1, 2012 for Fall Semester. This process has two stages, Application and Community Involvement. Applicants will be notified via e-mail if they are selected for the Community Involvement stage. Community Involvement Requirement

The Masonic Charitable education Corporation is again pleased to offer the MCEC Technical Scholarships. The scholarships, known as the Mark Earl and Esther Ruth Spencer Technical scholarships”, will be awarded to a number of 2013 graduating Iowa public High School seniors who plan to enroll in a mechanical or trade course of study at an accredited Iowa Community College. DMMOM College Scholarship 2013-2014
The Des Moines Mothers of Multiples (DMMOM) club is a non-profit organization founded in 1959 for the educational and support needs of parents of multiples. We are proud to offer up to two (2) scholarships for multiple birth students pursuing enrollment or currently enrolled in a college, university, trade or vocational school.
The scholarship committee will review all applications completed by the stated deadline and select the recipients based upon the criteria and eligibility noted below. The award will be $350.00 for 2013-2014 academic year. The application deadline is April 1, 2013.
Eligibility and Requirements
Applicant must:
- Be a multiple birth student (twin, triplet or higher order multiple).
- Be either
- A senior in high school with plans to attend a college, university, trade or vocational school; or
- A high school graduate (or equivalent) student currently attending or planning to attend a college, university, trade or vocational school as a degree seeking student.
- Be a resident of Iowa.
- Provide an official copy of your most recent academic transcript in a sealed envelope from your school. Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher is required.
- Submit two (2) letters of recommendation that state the strengths and character of the applicant. The name, address and phone number of the person writing the recommendation, as well as the nature of the relationship (cannot be an immediate family member) and the length of time the applicant has been known by said individual, must be included.
- Submit a 300-500 word essay discussing one of the following two topics:
- Your educational plan stating how this scholarship will help further your education; or
- How being a multiple has impacted you and advice you would give to parent(s) who are raising multiple-birth children.
- The essay must be typewritten, double-spaced and printed on white paper only.
- Provide an acceptance letter from the college, university, trade or vocation school you plan to attend or an enrollment verification letter from the registrar’s office if currently enrolled in the institution. An enrollment verification letter will also be required upon the start of the term.
- Submit copies of Birth Certificates for the applicant and the multiple birth child(ren) in order to verify multiple birth family status.
- Have all envelopes postmarked no later than April 1, 2013. We prefer all documents be sent together at the same time. However, if some documents need to be sent separately, they should clearly identify the applicant.

Mark Robbins, Dean of Syracuse University's School of Architecture is desperately seeking young men and women of color interested in pursuing a five year professional degree in Architecture. He says he's deeply committed to bringing diversity to his field and has scholarship money set aside to fully cover education costs for 10 students. He says that Hispanic enrollment in the school has increased substantially, but it's been harder to attract Blacks. Thermo Fisher Scientific Scholarship ~ The Thermo Scientific Pierce Scholarship Program for the Winter/Spring 2013 semester includes two (2) $10,000 scholarships and four (4) $5,000 scholarships, to be awarded to undergraduate and graduate students with a declared major of biology, chemistry, biochemistry, or a related life-science field. To qualify for the scholarship, students must have a GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) and be enrolled in an accredited college for university for the Winter/Spring 2013 semester. Full-time students receive $1,500 and half-time students receive $750. Students who maintain GPAs of at least 2.5 may receive renewal scholarships annually until the students receive their final degrees or certificates or until the total award reaches $6,000, whichever comes first.

Varsity Tutors Monthly Scholarship
Varsity Tutors offers a monthly $1,000 college scholarship contest to students who write the best essay in response to a monthly prompt. VFW Military Family Scholarship
Since 1899, the Veterans of Foreign Wars has sought ways to help and encourage those veterans in uniform and recently discharged and their families. In recent years, we have received numerous requests from these individuals requesting dollars for education and training. The VFW Military Family Scholarship is our response to those requests.
The program provides twenty-five $3,000 scholarships each year to VFW members who are currently serving in uniform or have been discharged within the thirty-six months prior to the December 31 deadline each year. The scholarships will be awarded during the first quarter of the year following the deadline – five for each branch of service – Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force and Coast Guard. Winners will be selected from entries received throughout the year and based on the entry form included in this brochure.
Scholarships are awarded solely on the basis of the information contained on the entry form.
Documentation of the information provided on the entry form will be required and documented before the scholarship can be awarded. Scholarships may be used by the veteran (those still in uniform are considered veterans), or a member of the veteran’s immediate family. Entries from National Guard and Reserve members will be considered along with their parent branch of service.

The Carol Rocklin Kay Memorial Fund was established in 1988 to provide support for student participation in The Way Up conferences. Carol Rocklin Kay, who served as Assistant to the Vice President for Student Affairs at Iowa State University, was a central figure in planning The Way Up II, III, IV and V conferences. She served as the Program Chair for women graduate students - the future faculty members and administrators of our colleges and universities. Scholarships cover conference registration and one night's stay in the conference hotel. This year's winners will be announced during the conference.

Willella Fluellin Scholarship
Scholarship applicants must meet the following guidelines:
- Must be a graduating senior attending high school or presently enrolled in an institution of higher education.
- Must have at least a 2.5 cumulative grade point average or equivalent on a 4 point scale.
- Must submit a typed essay which includes:
- Information about you
- Picture of you
- Your goals (short and long)
- Why you want to obtain a higher education
- How this scholarship will be an asset to you and the community
- Must have (2) letters of recommendation from individuals who are familiar with your character.
- Must submit a sealed Official Transcript from your high school or college
- A completed application must be submitted.
- Applications must be submitted or postmarked on or before June 15, 2013
- Must be a resident of Scott County and provide proof of residency at the time of application.
- If you are awarded the scholarship, it will be awarded after the committee receives proof of enrollment from the college or university.
