Paying for College > Dare to Compare > Scholarships and Loans >

Not only do Clinton, Muscatine and Scott Community Colleges make college affordable by offering the lowest tuition in the state, they also help students with a variety of scholarship and loan options.

Many factors are taken into consideration in awarding the scholarships. Financial need, academic promise, community and school involvement, and intended programs of study are just a few of the factors considered in awarding scholarships. You don't have to be a recent graduate, or the top student in your class: young or old, top student or average student, everyone is encouraged to apply.

For more information about our scholarship opportunities, check the scholarship applications link at right or contact the foundation office nearest you.

Various federal loan programs can also help you pay for college. (See link at upper right.) These are generally lower interest loans, some of which you do not have to begin repaying until after you leave school.
