International Student Admission Requirements

is comprised of three colleges - Clinton Community College, Muscatine Community College and Scott Community College. The colleges offer liberal arts and science courses for college transfer credit and a wide variety of vocational-technical education programs that fulfill the various job requirements in the community.
 
Both the liberal arts and science classes and the vocational-technical career programs are taught on a semester basis. The fall semester begins in late August and lasts until mid-December. The spring semester begins in January and lasts until mid-May.
 
International students must enroll full-time (12 semester hours minimum) and maintain satisfactory attendance and academic performance. Students planning to attend any college of the Eastern Iowa Community College District should schedule to arrive at least one week before classes begin so housing, transportation and financial arrangements can be made. When you arrive, you must report to the admissions office beginning of the week. Please bring your VISA, I-20 and any other official documentation with you. At this we will complete your file by making copies of these documents. If you fail to do this, you will not be allowed to register for classes.
 
Tuition and fees for international students will be $3,072 per semester (based on 16 credits) and an additional $2,304 for a summer session (based on 12 credits).  You should plan to spend about $1,200 per year for books.

All students at Clinton and Scott Community College live off-campus, and you should plan to pay at least $683 per month for meals, room rent and other living expenses. The Villas at Devils Glen apartment option for Scott Community College students are less than 2 miles from campus. Muscatine Community College has student housing on campus.  If you plan to stay in this country over the summer, you should plan to have an additional $2,151 to cover your expenses for the summer three-month period.  A total of $15,544 per year (12 months) must be available to you to pay for all educational and living expenses.
