Connecting New Students to College Success

New Students are required to attend a Bridge Experience Session.

These sessions are designed to assist students in making a successful transition to college.

The experience includes:

-	College Orientation
-	Financial Aid Overview
-	Information on College Services
-	Degree and Transfer Information
-	College Tour
-	Individual Advising Session
-	Development of Student Academic Degree Plan
-	Registration for First Term Classes

Students are required to complete the following steps PRIOR to attending a Bridge Experience Session:

1. Complete the Application for Admission
   
   
2. Complete the COMPASS Assessment See www.eicc.edu/compass for more information
   
   
   • Take the COMPASS Assessment test on campus
     
     OR
     
     
   • Have your ACT scores sent to the college. ACT scores must be within the last three years. Please also bring your unofficial ACT score copy with you to the session.
     
     
3. Bring unofficial copies of your high school and any previous college transcripts with you to the Bridge Session. This will assist your advisor with planning your first college term and academic degree plan.
