
Students at the Kahl Educational Center enroll in college transfer classes as well as career programs in Administrative and Office Support, Business / Accounting Management and Microcomputer Information Technology. Students have the flexibility of completing all of their coursework at the Kahl or attending classes at both the Kahl and Scott Community College’s main campus in Bettendorf.
College Transfer Students earning their Associate in Arts Degree from the college easily transfer their credits to four-year universities and colleges thanks to a number of formal agreements with the area private colleges and state universities.
Administrative and Office Support Program options include the short-term Office Support Certificate and Microcomputer Application Software Specialist Diploma as well as the full Associate in Applied Science (AAS) Degree.
Business Management and Accounting Management Students have a great deal to choose from in the Business Management program including emphases in Business, Marketing , Small Business and Management Supervision. The Accounting Management program offers both a short-term diploma option and full AAS degree.
Microcomputer Information Technology Scott Community College's Information Technology (IT) department offers an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) Degree with two concentration areas: Software Development (Programming) and Networking. The department also offers the CCNA and CCNP CISCO Networking Certificates and a Certificate in Web Design.
