Clinton Community College > Maquoketa Programs >

Clinton Community College has been a strong presence in the Maquoketa area for more than 20 years, offering:

  • a full schedule of college credit classes. Most of these classes are held in the evening for the convenience of residents who are working during the day.

Students can earn their Associate in Arts degree by entirely taking these classes or by combining them with classes at the main campus and online classes. The Maquoketa classes are provided in cooperation with the Maquoketa School District and held at local schools.

  • many short term, non-credit classes. These are classes that individuals can take to pursue a general interest or hobby, or to improve specific work skills.

Some of classes that have been offered include foreign language, the internet, basket weaving, retirement planning, investing and computer training in word processing, spreadsheets and more.

  • preparation for the General Education Development (GED). This free program is for individuals who did not complete high school and wish to attain their GED.

Our Maquoketa office is housed at the Eastern Iowa Job Training and Iowa Workforce Development Center at 714 West Platt Street. For more information, stop by the center or call (563) 652-5000.
