Bridging Scholarship for Study in Japan

The Association of Teachers of Japanese Bridging Project offers scholarships to American undergraduate students participating in study-abroad programs in Japan. Funding from private foundations and major U.S. corporations has made it possible for ATJ to award 60-100 scholarships to assist students with the travel and living expenses they will incur while studying abroad in Japan for a semester or an academic year during 2011-2012.

Payments

Short Term study abroad programs require a $500 non-refundable deposit when you submit your application. This will be applied to your total program fee and if you are not selected to participate in the program, your $500 will be refunded. The remaining balance will be divided into three payments and paid to your student account. For semester abroad students EICC tuition is due prior to your departure. See specific requirements for each semester or summer long program.

Withdrawal Policy

All requests to withdraw from a program must be in writing and will be reviewed on a case by case basis. EICC will not hold checks or pay overdraft fees.
