Mission and Philosophy of the Grants Office

The mission of the Grants Office is to assist faculty and staff in securing grant funds that will provide new learning opportunities for students and will assist them in being more successful academically.

In addition, the Grants Office is a revenue generating department at , and its strategic impact is heightened given the fiscal constraints being faced by the institution.

In order to help the Grants Office fulfill its mission effectively, any faculty or staff member interested in applying for grant funds through a federal, state, or private funding source must contact the Grants Office first before proceeding to apply for funding. All grants approved for submission must be submitted through the Grants Office-- without exception.
