ABSTRACT:    This project is a partnership with EICCD, the Mississippi Bend AEA and area high schools. It will educate secondary faculty and students regarding career opportunities and emerging research and technologies in agriculture, and offer student advanced placement courses for college credit.

This project will target urban city high schools in eastern Iowa and minority and migrant students in the surrounding service area to increase the number of urban students who go into the agricultural field and to increase minority, low-income, and migrant students’ access to, enrollment in, and graduation from college.
