TITLE:   Culinary Arts Chef’s Apprenticeship Training

ABSTRACT:    This is an expansion of an existing program that will support the renovation of a section of the Eagle Building into a highly technical culinary lab that will also be enhanced with the ability to broadcast culinary program training over the ICN.

TITLE:   Mechatronic Technology

ABSTRACT:    This training will prepare students to work in Advanced Manufacturing and will be offered at the GATCI building in Clinton. This would include positions that require specialized skills in the areas of electronics, instrumentation, programmable logic controllers, computer numerical controls, microprocessors, animation and robotics. This program will offer a certificate, diploma or degree.

TITLE:   Expanded Professional Truck Driving Program

ABSTRACT:   The capital funds received will allow for the expansion and upgrading of this program at a District facility adjacent to Interstate I-80. The facility expansion will allow the program to undergo a major curriculum upgrade. The revised program will incorporate the use of realistic, state-of-the-art simulation training designed to meet the emerging demands of this profession. This training will assist the increased number of program graduates to be prepared with the heightened skill sets, knowledge and critical thinking skills that are increasingly being required in this profession.

ABSTRACT:   This training will prepare students to work as Dental Technicians/Assistants in at District campuses. This program will offer a certificate, diploma or degree.
