Visiting Chef & Celebrity Judge

Chef Virant was a contestant on the television show Iron Chef America and his restaurant, Vie in Hinsdale, Illinois was rated as one of the Top 40 restaurants in the United States. His menu supports local family farms while at the same time, it takes advantage of the increased availability of specialty foods from across the globe.  In addition to judging the final competitions each year, Chef Virant provided a cooking demonstration and worked with the Scott Community College Culinary Arts students to prepare the food enjoyed at each of the final showdowns. www.vierestaurant.com
