What is Career Link?
Eastern Iowa Community College District has partnered with area industries to create the Career Link pre-employment manufacturing training program.
 
The consortium-based training model assists companies in meeting the increased demands of hiring qualified candidates while providing students direct exposure to the participating employers and career opportunities.

Advanced Manufacturing Training 
 

Training Schedule:
Career Link is a 56-hour, 4-week training program that runs Monday through Thursday evenings from 6:00pm - 9:30pm in three locations (Clinton, Davenport and Muscatine). Training sessions are provided six times a year.

Students will study a variety of topics including:

Application Process 
 

Step 1: Information and Assessment (3.5 Hours)
Fee - $25 cash or check for non-refundable registration fee
 
All candidates will attend an information and assessment session in which Work Keys tests in Applied Technology, Applied Math, and Locating Information will be given. Candidates must achieve a passing score before moving to the next step. A training application will also need to be completed. Step 2: Program Interview
All applicants must complete a personal interview and required paperwork for entrance into the class. Interviews will be scheduled on an individual basis.
 
 
Step 3: Training
Tuition is free. Once selected, you will be scheduled into the next available Career Link class.

   locations throughout the EICCD area.
Dot image  Evenings classes will run from 6:00pm - 9:30pm
   over a four-week time frame.
Dot image  All students will be held to a strict attendance
   policy - no exceptions!
