We provide free one-on-one confidential business counseling by trained staff professionals and volunteer business analysts with experience as business owners or executives. The SBDC offers counseling on a broad list of topics including, but not limited to:

     Start Up Issues
     Writing a Business Plan
     Loan Applications Process
     Licensing and Permits
     Marketing
     Hiring and Managing Employees
     Financial Management and Bookkeeping
     Legal and Tax Issues
     Home-based Business Opportunities

To schedule a counseling appointment, please call (563) 336-3401. Appointments are available from 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday. It is helpful for you to please print and fax a Request for Counseling form to us ahead of your appointment.
