Rapid Intervention Team (Hands on)
This course is designed to give firefighters the techniques needed to initiate rescue of a downed firefighter who cannot perform selfrescue. This will also teach the firefighters how to activate and perform as a Rapid Intervention Team. This is a very physically demanding course. All PPE including SCBA will be utilized.

Basic Rope Rescue
When victims are in a situation that demands a rope rescue, the rescuer need to know the proper techniques to save them and protect the rescuers. Understanding Rope Rescue as it relates to NFPA 1670 could greatly improve the rescuers ability to respond to dangerous incidents. This course will teach the rescuer basic rope techniques that will assist them in moving patients using basic rope systems and proper packaging techniques. They will learn how to properly use Knots, Anchors, pulley systems, and the tripod. The primary focus is on basic rigging and knot tying. This is a hands on course. Please bring gloves and eye protection, all other PPE will be provided.

Advanced Auto Extraction (SEMI, BUS)
This course will teach students various methods and skill sets to use rescue tool to make entrance into trucks and larger motor vehicles so that they may safely and effectively remove patients from these incidents.

Confined Space Operations
This course is designed to give personnel the knowledge to prepare entrants for confined space entry and be able to enter under a controlled confined space. The student will also learn how to monitor the space for various gases. The student will become familiar with various equipment needed to perform an entry into a space.

Night Live Fire Training
This 8 hour training will include live fire evolutions in a team element for ground level, bove and below grade fire attack utilizing skills for advancing hose lines, search and rescue, ventilation, and fire control. This course will cover flammable liquids and gas techniques. This class meets NFPA 1001 and 1403 requirements for firefighter training and training fire, and will count towards the state mandatory training requirements. Personal Protective Equipment is needed including SCBA.

The decision to cancel will be made by college administration a minimum of three business days (M-F) prior to the program. If a class is cancelled, you will receive a full refund.
