Construction is officially underway for Scott Community College's new Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management Center.
The 10,000-square-foot building is scheduled to be open by July 1, in plenty of time for students entering in the fall semester. Costing $2.3 million, it is located on the college’s main campus in Bettendorf and includes baking and cooking demonstration labs, two classrooms, a mock-up of a hotel suite, office space, storage space and a 50-seat setting for serving of meals.
