You are cordially invited to be a part of the Inaugural Season for the Viewpoint Distinguished Speakers Series.

Brought to you by the Eastern Iowa Community Colleges, among the series' goals is to bring nationally and internationally-recognized speakers to the Quad Cities for inspirational and thought-provoking presentations.

We are extremely pleased to announce that our speakers for this first season are retired NBC News Anchor and current Meet the Press host Tom Brokaw and former Chicago Bears middle linebacker and current San Francisco 49ers assistant head coach Mike Singletary.

Among our other goals for the series is to bring a diverse group of personalities to the series. We believe we have accomplished just that with our leadoff speakers.

Tom Brokaw is perhaps the pre-eminent newsman of our times with an unparalleled knowledge of our world. Mike Singletary is a Hall of Fame football player who has brought the intensity he displayed on the field to his professional and personal life.
