Clinton Community College will celebrate the 31st Annual B-rrry Scurry 4-mile race on Saturday, February 4, 2012. This is one of the area’s favorite winter events and all runners and walkers are invited to join the fun! LIKE our Facebook page and see pictures of past races including a great video of B-rrry and B-ronda dancing together.
All participants receive the official, originally-designed TECH race shirt (runners will LOVE this shirt!), have their names listed in the Clinton Herald, are eligible for some great door prizes, free refreshments after the race, and entry into the post-race party at a local establishment.
Special medallions bearing the image of B-rrry Bear, the official race mascot, are presented in 13 age divisions for both men and women.
The B-rrry Challenge encourages area organizations to get involved while competing for the top award.
The most fascinating aspect of the B-rrry Scurry is the weather. In Iowa, February temperatures range from 60 degrees above zero to 20 degrees below zero. We never know what to expect!
Register early! You need to be registered by midnight on Thursday, February 2 to receive an accurate time using the latest disposable chip timing and have your name and time printed in the Clinton Herald newspaper.
