2012 Oktoberfest Logo The Clinton Community College Alumni Association will host the 5th Annual OKTOBERFEST at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, October 5 at the Wild Rose Casino in Clinton.

Delicious food, LIVE music by the Bluegrass group Squid’s Beard, and live and silent auctions will be available to all attendees. Thirty varieties of beer will be tasted including Blackened Voodoo, Birra Moretti, Sam Adams Oktoberfest, Leinenkugels Oktoberfest, Goose Island Harvest, Redbridge (Gluten Free), Lake Front New Grist (Gluten Free), Angry Orchard Dry Cider (Gluten Free), Angry Orchard Ginger Cider (Gluten Free), Angry Orchard Crisp Apple Cider (Gluten Free), Shock Top Pumpkin Ale, Shiner Bock, Game On Black Ale, Game On Pale Ale, Game On Amber Ale, Game On Seasonal, Wild Red , Wild Black, Jack Daniels Downhome Punch, Jack Daniels Lynchburg Lemonade, Jack Daniels Black Jack Cola, Michelob 19th Hole (Tea / Lemonade blend), Twisted Tea and more.

Samples of beers from the Great River Brewery and 7G will be on hand as well as “Stump Post” and other samplings from the Mississippi River Distilling company.

Proceeds from the event benefit CCC students through the Alumni Association Scholarships.

Oktoberfest benefits four annual CCC Alumni Association scholarships:

Connie Seifert Memorial Honor Scholarship – awarded to a high achieving student,
Member Scholarship – awarded to a spouse or dependent of an Alumni Association member,
Recognition Scholarship – awarded to a graduate of the CCC GED program, and
Endowed Scholarship – awarded to a student with financial need.

The objectives of the Clinton Community College Alumni Association are:

To assist Clinton Community College in its efforts of increasing benefits to students enrolled;
To foster a spirit of loyalty to Clinton Community College; and
To coordinate activities of alumni furthering the welfare of both Clinton Community College and its alumni.
