GardeningMuscatine Community College’s Continuing Education Department is again offering its popular Art of Gardening daylong seminar.

This year’s seminar will be held:

Saturday, March 16, 2013
9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Muscatine, IA

The Art of Gardening seminar is used to educate and inspire others to seek enjoyment and fulfillment through a variety of home gardening related topics and activities.

The Muscatine County Master Gardeners are pleased to welcome WQAD Meteorologist. Terry Swails as the keynote speaker for the 2013 Art of Gardening. The popular TV personality, speaker, and author will share his insight and expertise regarding USDA Zone 5 climate tendencies, weather predictions for the 2013 growing season, and his experience as a meteorologist. His personable speaking style and wealth of knowledge will be the perfect ending for a very educational day.

A total of the breakout sessions are scheduled for the day as well as vendor exhibits.
