Muscatine Community College’s Continuing Education Department is again offering its popular Art of Gardening daylong seminar.
This year’s seminar will be held:
Saturday, March 17,
9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
MCC Strahan Hall
152 Colorado Street.
The seminar traditionally covers a wide spectrum of topics including florals, gardening, landscaping and more.
Master gardener Craig Hignight is this year's keynote speaker. He has a degree in Horticulture from Western Illinois University. For over 27 years, Craig has answered your gardening questions and given plant tips on WQAD-TV.
Born and raised in the greenhouse business, Craig is glad to never be more than a phone call away when someone has a plant or gardening question. Craig sold his business, Hignight Valley Market and Green House, and now you will find him at Wallace's Garden Center.
A total of 23 breakout sessions are scheduled for the day as well as vendor exhibits. A partial list of the session is below.
