Special Events > Visiting Artist Series >
Eastern Iowa Community College District annually cooperates with Quad City Arts to bring world-renowned artists to eastern Iowa through the Visiting Artist Series.
This year, 51 artists will come to the Quad Cities through the program, with eight of those
artists appearing at Clinton, Muscatine or Scott Community College.
The performances are free of charge, held in informal settings and open to the public.
The Visiting Artists are selected based on the quality of their work and the ability to interact with audiences of diverse backgrounds and ages.
This year's artists perform everything from violin and harp to a one-man performance as General Robert E. Lee. Audiences experience performances they could only see if they traveled to Chicago, L.A. or New York City.
