Low Angle Rope Rescue
Rope rescue skills are used in almost all technical rescue
disciplines. This two-day course takes the student to operations
level. The class is a perfect foundation to advance to high angle
rope rescue. Every department has some area within its jurisdiction
requiring a low angle rescue, from a gravel pit, to a river bank,
to an elevated highway or railroad tracks. 16 hours.
Rope Rescue
Operations
This course meets the requirements of NFPA 1670, Chapter 4. The
course is designed for the emergency responder who may be called
upon to locate, make contact with, stabilize and remove patients in
a high angle environment. Student competency will be demonstrated
individually and in group exercises based on real world
scenarios.

rescue teams and is based on standards established in NFPA 1670.
Students will perform victim retrieval in simulated and actual
confined spaces.
This course places emphasis on rope rigging, hazard identification and hazard mitigation skills.
Trench Rescue
Operations
This course introduces the student to OSHA 29 CFR 1926,
preplanning, hazard identification, assessing soil types, cave-in
evaluation, atmospheric monitoring, stabilization and shoring with
practical application and simulated accident scenarios.
Course meets or exceeds NFPA 1670
