Fire Officer I addresses the “real world contemporary
issues” that pose a challenge to the supervisory leadership
skills of the first-line officer involved in the
administration/operational issues at the company/organizational
level.
This course meets the objectives as stated in NFPA 1021, Standard for Fire Officer Professional Qualifications.
Prerequisite: Firefighter II and Instructor I

II
This course provides training in company operations and
administration, serving to enhance the entry-level company officer
training course. Upon successful completion of this course the
student will be able to effectively manage human resources,
communication/public relations, fire department organization,
public education and emergency service delivery and safety.

Fire Service Instructor
I
Fire Instructor I is designed to teach instructors and trainers how
to organize and teach effectively using existing lesson plans.
The class meets the objectives as stated in NFPA 1041, Standards for Fire Service Instructor Professional Qualifications, and 2002 Edition.
Fire Service Instructor
II
Fire Instructor II prepares the student for planning and developing
all aspects of course curriculum, including a needs analysis, task
analysis, course goals and objectives, a lesson plan, instructional
support materials and evaluation instruments. A final project will
be due after the completion of this class.
