Muscatine Community
College has established itself as one of
the top Division I junior college programs in the Midwest.
Muscatine Community College competes in Region XI, a Division I
conference in Iowa. We are a highly competitive program striving to
succeed every day.
The Cardinal baseball
program has much to offer a young man who is committed to becoming
an excellent baseball player and at the same time work toward a
college degree. Those offerings include a 76 game schedule, a
beautiful baseball facility in Tom Bruner Field, and a
tremendous indoor workout facility.
Because of our excellent athletic and academic reputation, we have sent many of our athletes to good major college programs.
Academically, we have established ourselves as a sound starting
point in our athlete's quest in acquiring
a four-year college degree.
In addition, 12 Cardinal athletes have been named to All-American teams, and 40 former Cardinals have signed contracts to play baseball professionally. We also had three Cardinals drafted in the 2001 Major League Draft. As a program we have received numerous accolades; highlighted by national poll rankings and two World Series appearances in 1994 and 1999.
