Clinton Community College (CCC) women’s volleyball coach Joe Shovlain has announced that Hannah Seibel, a North Scott High School senior, has signed a NJCAA National Letter of Intent and Scholarship agreement to continue her volleyball career at Clinton Community College.
Seibel, a two-year varsity letter winner, is a 5’10” middle/right side hitter for North Scott High School. She was twice named to the MAC All Academic Team for volleyball and was named for the 2006 and 2007 IGHSAU Excellence in Academic Achievement Award.
Seibel has been a member of the North Scott Twisters volleyball club for six years and is an alternate on the USVBA High Performance Volleyball club at middle and right side. She has been involved in many other activities at North Scott including softball, golf, bowling, chorus and community work.
“We are excited Hannah chose CCC to continue her volleyball career," Shovlain said. "Hannah has been dedicated to volleyball. It is always good to find a left handed right side.
"I believe that Hannah has great potential and with this opportunity at CCC she will have a chance to fully develop her skills. Hannah, like the other young ladies we have recruited, is an excellent student as well as athlete and will fit in well with our program.”
Seibel plans to major in accounting or psychology at Clinton Community College. She is the daughter of Brian and Gigi Seibel of Eldridge.
