Clinton Community College Hires Assistant Basketball & Volleyball Coach

Clinton Community College has announced that the Cougars have hired Steven Shovlain to serve as their men’s assistant basketball coach and women’s assistant volleyball coach for the 2010-2011 academic year. 

Steven is a 2005 graduate of Clinton High School and was a multi sport athlete.  He graduated from Saint Ambrose University in Davenport in 2010 with a Bachelors Degree in Business Management.  While at Saint Ambrose Steven played basketball for 3 years and served as a student assistant basketball coach the past two years. 

Steven’s responsibilities for the Cougars will include recruiting and practice and game preparation.  Steven is pursuing a Masters in Education.  Coach Weston, head volleyball coach, and Coach Shovlain, head basketball coach, are excited to work with Steven.
