Founded in 1961 as a non-profit steward of gifts to the college, the Muscatine Community College (MCC) Foundation strives to provide that extra "margin of excellence" to the college programs and facilities.

Our mission is to raise, invest, and grant funds that assist with the academic, economic, and personal growth of diverse MCC populations. Through donor-directed charitable donations, the Foundation supports scholarships, programs, and facilities.

In the 2022-23 academic year, we awarded $425,000 to MCC students for tuition, fees, and books. Scholarships are awarded in both the Fall and Spring semester.

All students are encouraged to apply for MCC Foundation Scholarships, learn more by contacting the foundation directly at 563-288-6005  or by emailing ckcooper@eicc.edu. Application deadlines are March 1 and Nov. 1.

Giving Opportunities

The Foundation is a non-profit 501©3 organization. Gifts are tax-deductible and non-refundable contributions. Donors receive no goods or services in return for gifts to the foundation.

Other ways you can support our students and activities include donating to:

  • Muscatine Community College Achievement Fund
This fund provides a single source of support for student activities and programs. Many area businesses contribute to this fund.
  • Muscatine Community Partners in Excellence
Gifts support the MCC Fine Arts program. The fund ensures the quality and variety of performance groups, enhances and grows fine arts opportunities offered by the college to the community, and provides an endowment for the fine arts.
