Students interested in a career in Conservation have two options from which to choose.
Muscatine Community College’s Conservation Program
provides a solid foundation with classes in such areas as Environmental
Science, Fisheries and Wildlife Habitat Management. Students receive
hands-on training with both Wilderness and Employment Experiences during
the summer.
The Natural Resource Management
program is a partnership between Eastern Iowa Community College (EICC)
and Western Illinois University – Quad Cities (WIU-QC). Students take
classes both at the WIU-QC campus and EICC’s Nahant Marsh Education
Center, a 262 acre nature preserve on the Mississippi River.
