Program Description
The role of management support offers variety, challenges and opportunities for advancement. Entry-level positions may include routing telephone calls, handling the mail, filing and retrieving documents, and using a computer to organize data. Higher-level positions may require planning meetings and special events, writing business letters and making travel arrangements.
Employers expect the following in management support employees and our graduates deliver: computer skills; written and oral communication skills; organizational abilities; accuracy and efficiency in data entry; positive professional attitude and experience.
Our classes range from entry-level skills to the more sophisticated skills needed for promotion in the office environment. You can choose from certificate, diploma and degree program options with different lengths of study and options in the job market. Evening classes are available for those already employed or meeting family responsibilities.
The Administrative Office Support program is available at all three colleges.
