Job Opportunities
Horticulture is the fastest growing segment of agriculture. One reason is that gardening is the number one hobby in this country. Behind those marigolds sprouting in the garden or the impatiens in the front flowerbeds, there are people in the horticulture industry who are making it happen.

Today's busy lifestyles mean people are working more and have less time for family and recreation. More and more, homeowners are seeking out companies to meet their home lawn care and landscaping.

In addition to needs around the home, outdoor sports activities are becoming increasingly popular. With more children playing soccer and adults turning to golf, there is a growing demand for individuals in athletic field and golf course maintenance.

Earnings
Salaries vary depending on what area of horticulture you choose and how much experience you possess.
