Educational background:
AAS from Muscatine Community College in Feed
& Fertilizer Marketing & BA from Western Illinois
University
Connection to EICC:
Degree from MCC and continue to take classes for fun (piano,
floral design, machinery repair and watercolor painting)
What students should know about
community colleges:
The community college should be thought of as a tool to get you
to your goals faster and more economically.
The best thing about working with
students:
No two days are the same. I learn
something new every day based on my interaction with
students. I love the challenge and the opportunity to affect
the community by strengthening its workforce through training and
education.
Other fun and interesting things
about me
I am originally from Rushsylvania, Ohio. I am
the mother of three young children (Mitchell, Logan and Ciara). My
husband, Tom, and I farm a century family farm in Illinois where we
raise row crops and livestock as well as operate a custom baling
business. We enjoy traveling when time allows and jump at any
chance to cheer on The Ohio State Buckeyes or the Muscatine
Community College Cardinals.
