Cheryl is passionate about helping prospective students with their education and career plans and believes that a community college offers a wide variety of opportunities for students.
“Students attending community colleges do so for many reasons," Cheryl said. "Some attend to achieve their GED, others to attain skills and training for a new career, some to transfer on to a four year school to complete a Bachelor’s degree and many more to pick up a class or two for personal growth or to advance in their career. Community colleges are wonderfully equipped to educate high school students, their parents and even grandparents!
“In today’s economy, people rely on community colleges as a place where they can turn for retraining or for additional education to remain competitive within their career field. I feel fortunate to be able to help students explore all of the fantastic options available to them.”
