Each year, the honors outstanding faculty and staff members with its highest honor, the Chancellor's Award. These individuals have demonstrated exemplary service to the district and its students.

Recipients are nominated for the award by their peers. The nominations are then judged by past recipients of the award who selected the final awardees

The Chancellor's Award was begun in 1983 and is presented each September at the district's Staff Development Day attended by all faculty and staff members.
