Just indicate your interest to Reg Shoesmith and he will send the application and/or resume that he has on file to the Dept. Public Speaking, (SPC112)

  • Credit Hours:  3 credits, ($1,875 instructor pay)
  • Day & Time: 
    • Dual Credit Class(at local high school) Monday through Friday (daily), August - December 2015, Time: TBA
    • On Campus(Bettendorf campus) Some flexibilty (M/W/F or TU/TH) depending on instructor availability
  • Campus:  Various campus sites
  • Qualifications:  Master Degree in Speech or related area.  A degree in a “related area” means that the adjunct must have at least 12 graduate hours in speech. Individuals with a graduate degree in Communication, Broadcasting, or Theatre may have courses that meet the 12 graduate credit hour threshold. Teaching experience is desirable. When applying the Dept. Coordinator requests a resume and a graduate transcript(an unofficial transcript will suffice at this time—an official transcript will be required for an interview)

Due to upcoming retirement there are a number of HVAC teaching opportunities.  Several are morning classes but the bulk of the needs start in the afternoon with most beginning after 4 p.m.
