Note to current SCC adjuncts: as a current adjunct you do not need to send in a new application or resume at this time. Just indicate your interest to Reg Shoesmith and he will send the application and/or resume that he has on file to the Dept. RN designation and a Masters Degree; needed for classroom and clinical supervision.

Arts & Sciences, Spring, 2015 (1/20/2015—5/20/2015)

Public Speaking (SPC112)
  • Dual Credit Class (taught at local high schools)
  • Calendar per local high school involved
  • Credit Hours:  3 credits, ($1,875 instructor pay)
  • Day & Time:  Monday through Friday (daily), Time:  TBA
  • Campus:  Local High Schools—offerings dependent on qualified instructors
  • Qualifications:  Master Degree in Speech/Communication or related area:  must have at least 12 graduate hours in speech.  Teaching experience desirable.  When applying the Dept. Coordinator requests a resume and an unofficial graduate transcript (you may also include your undergraduate transcript).

Introduction to Electrical Science (EGR-285)

  • Credit Hours:  4 credits, ($2,500 instructor pay)
  • Day & Time:  Monday & Wednesday, 5:30 - 8:10 p.m.
  • Campus:  Belmont, Bettendorf, IA
  • Qualifications:  BS in Electrical Engineering with a PE (Professional Engineer Certification) OR Master degree in Engineering.  Teaching experience desirable.

Mechanics of Deformable Bodies (EGR-380)

  • Credit Hours: 3 credits, ($1,875, instructor pay)
  • Day & Time: Tuesday and Thursday, 4:15 - 5:45 p.m.
  • Campus: Belmont, Bettendorf, IA
  • Qualifications: BS in Mechanical Engineering with a PE (Professional Engineer Certification) OR Master degree in Engineering.  Teaching experience desirable.
